Concept / コンセプト
The Pink Sounds Series was also exhibited on the second floor alongside the Noise Series. In these works, I interpret sound as the color pink, flowing into the deep black space created with sumi, a traditional black ink. Through this expression, I explore how sound influences the silent world and brings about transformation not only within that world, but also within my own perception.
このピンクのシリーズも同様に二階に展示してある。私は音の色として捉えたピンクを、伝統的な素材である墨に流れ込むように表現している。そしてこの作品は、音が無音世界にも影響を与え、その変容をもたらすという私の考えを示している。

Pink Sound Moon Series, 2022

Concept / コンセプト
The Pink Moon painting was also exhibited in the same space. For me, conversation is vague and indirect, like the pink moon. The moon reflects the light of the sun, something we cannot look at directly and, like a conversation, its appearance shifts from moment to moment. After receiving my cochlear implant, I began to perceive a variety of colors within my mind. Among them, pink resonated most strongly, and I have since embraced it as my signature color since 2013.
ピンクの月も同様に展示した。私にとって対話とは、満ち欠けする月のように不確かで間接的なものである。月は直視できない太陽の光を反射し、会話のように刻々と姿を変えていく。ピンクは、私が感じ取った音の色の中でも特に強く心に響いた色であり、2013年から私のブランドカラーとして用いてきた。

Concept / コンセプト
These works were exhibited on the second floor as part of the Noise Series. They depict handwritten notes for the deaf within flames of orange and yellow. The yellow fire paintings were originally created between 2015 and 2016, but they had never been shown publicly due to ethical issues surrounding the notes. In contrast, the orange works are recent creations. Both sets embody my emotions and personal experiences.
In Between Resonances展の会場二階に展示された作品である。オレンジや黄色い炎で燃え盛る絵の中に、筆談の文字が描かれている。黄色い作品は、2015-2016年に制作されたが、筆談の表現があったため、これまで展示されることはなかった。オレンジの方は新作であり、どちらも私の感情や音の経験を反映させたものである。
